If you're traveling by plane, then after you land you can simply follow the route from the gate to customs; you’ll automatically end up at Schiphol Plaza. If you're traveling to Schiphol via public transportation, you can simply walk in.

The opening hours of the car rental location at Schiphol Airport are 06:30AM to 23:00PM, Monday through Sunday. Good to know: if you book with Alamo you can always return your car outside of opening hours, entirely free of charge.
